Quick answer

  • The ten Straw Hats have a combined listed bounty of 8,816,001,000 berries on the official One Piece crew page.
  • Luffy leads at 3 billion, followed by Zoro, Jinbe and Sanji. These are the four crew members above 1 billion.
  • Chopper’s 1,000-berry bounty accounts for the final 1,000 in the combined total. A poster value is not a reliable combat ranking.

The Straw Hat Pirates’ combined listed bounty is 8,816,001,000 berries. Luffy has the largest reward at 3 billion; Zoro, Jinbe and Sanji follow. Chopper has the smallest at 1,000, which is why the crew’s total ends with that unusual remainder.

Spoilers: post-Wano bounties and the crew’s earlier wanted posters. The main table uses the amounts displayed on the official One Piece crew page, checked on October 24, 2026. It does not include predicted rewards or claim to verify every unreleased chapter.

The source for the full roster and total is the official Straw Hat Pirates page. The table sorts by amount; it is not joining order, seniority or an assessment of fighting ability.

How much did the total increase after Wano?

The publisher’s earlier News Coo crew feature listed the ten-member crew at 3,161,000,100 berries. The current official crew listing is 8,816,001,000.

Subtracting the earlier figure gives an increase of 5,655,000,900 berries. Dividing the newer total by the older one gives approximately 2.79 times the earlier amount. These are calculations from the published totals, not additional numbers stated in the story.

The comparison uses ten people in both snapshots. That matters: a total can rise because the same members receive higher rewards, because another wanted pirate joins, or both. Here, the publisher’s earlier feature already includes Jinbe, so this particular comparison is not simply the result of adding him to the roster.

The official Episode 1086 synopsis places the arrival of the new posters after the crew leaves Wano. Episode 1086 is the anime’s overall number. It should not be mistaken for manga Chapter 1086.

Is Zoro’s bounty higher than Jinbe’s and Sanji’s?

Yes. Zoro is listed at 1.111 billion, Jinbe at 1.1 billion and Sanji at 1.032 billion. Zoro exceeds Jinbe by 11 million and Sanji by 79 million. Jinbe exceeds Sanji by 68 million.

Those small-looking decimal differences can be easy to misread when Japanese and English units are mixed. One Japanese oku is 100 million, so an amount expressed as 11 oku is already 1.1 billion. The safest comparison keeps every amount in the same unit, as the table does.

Four members exceed 1 billion: Luffy and those three. Robin’s 930 million is below that threshold by 70 million. None of this establishes the outcome of a hypothetical fight between any pair of them.

Why is Chopper’s bounty only 1,000?

The publisher’s News Coo feature explains that Chopper is perceived as the crew’s pet even though he can fight in his transformed forms. His official character profile identifies him as the ship’s doctor and lists the current 1,000-berry reward.

The mismatch is therefore part of the joke: the poster does not capture what the crew knows about its doctor. A small reward is not evidence that medical skill, judgment or support in battle is unimportant.

Why does the combined total end in 1,000?

All nine other rewards in the table are whole millions. Together they add up to 8,816,000,000. Adding Chopper’s reward produces the published total of 8,816,001,000.

This is a useful arithmetic check on a copied table. If the last three digits of the combined total disappear, Chopper may have been omitted or his reward may have been rounded away. Conversely, adding a speculative reward for an ally would create a different total from the official ten-member crew.

Rounding is fine when discussing scale, such as calling the total about 8.816 billion. It is less useful in a reference table intended to show every individual amount. Keeping the exact figures lets readers verify the sum themselves.

How has Luffy’s bounty changed?

Luffy’s main sequence of published rewards is 30 million, 100 million, 300 million, 400 million, 500 million, 1.5 billion and 3 billion. That is seven listed levels, or six increases after the first reward. Calling it seven increases confuses the starting value with a subsequent change.

Story milestone Bounty in berries
After East Blue 30,000,000
After Arabasta 100,000,000
After Enies Lobby 300,000,000
After the Summit War 400,000,000
After Dressrosa 500,000,000
After Whole Cake Island 1,500,000,000
After Wano 3,000,000,000

The chapter-referenced bounty index supplies the historical sequence. The current 3-billion figure is also shown on Luffy’s official profile. This timeline is about the value on his posters, not a complete list of the battles he fought between updates.

Is a bounty a power level?

A wanted reward is issued by an authority operating with its own information and priorities. Robin’s childhood is a clear counterexample to treating it as a pure measure of physical strength.

The official Robin birthday feature records a 79-million-berry bounty at age eight, after the Government learned she had survived Ohara and could read the ancient script. Her first reward therefore predates joining Luffy and the Enies Lobby incident.

Buggy supplies a different example. The Episode 1086 account describes the Marines treating him as the leader of Cross Guild, with Crocodile and Mihawk understood as his subordinates. That perception is part of the political situation around his new status. A poster can reflect perceived authority as well as personal fighting achievements.

Is Luffy the second-lowest-bounty Emperor?

That wording can preserve an outdated comparison. Blackbeard’s official profile lists 3,996,000,000 berries, higher than Luffy’s 3 billion. A comparison that still gives Blackbeard 2,247,600,000 uses an earlier amount.

This guide focuses on the ten Straw Hats rather than reproducing an all-pirate leaderboard. For the membership changes and historical context around the title, use our Four Emperors history.

The practical rule is to compare amounts from the same stage of the story. Mixing an old poster for one character with a newer poster for another creates an apparent ranking that never existed at that point.

How much of the total belongs to the top four?

Luffy, Zoro, Jinbe and Sanji add up to 6,243,000,000 berries. That is about 70.81% of the ten-person total. The other six members together account for 2,573,001,000 berries. These are calculations from the table, not separately announced rewards.

This grouping makes the scale easier to see without rounding away Chopper’s 1,000. Robin is the nearest member below the group of four members above 1 billion, at 930 million: 70 million short of the 1-billion threshold.
